Patents
Our firm can offer professional advice, for example in connection with a novelty search to clients about the possibility of obtaining patent protection for an invention, and about the risk of infringement by the use of the invention. We represent clients before the European Patent Office and the Swedish Patent Office. We prepare and file patent applications and deal with these until the patent is granted by filing letters of reply, discussing with the examiners, lodging appeals etc. We file oppositions against patent applications/patents from competitors of our clients and defend patents/patent applications of our clients against opposition. We also supervise and pay renewal fees.

Most of our patent attorneys are authorised European Patent Attorneys with an extensive experience from dealing with the EPO. Some of our patent attorneys even have experience from working at the EPO. We thus consider ourselves experts in dealing with the EPO, concerning examination cases as well as oppositions and appeals.

Trademarks
We perform novelty searches, prepare, file and deal with trademark applications in Sweden as well as abroad. We have trademark attorneys authorised to represent applicants before the Community Trademark Office (OHIM) in Alicante, Spain. We assist in seeking consent to registration and in renewal of registered trademarks.

Designs
Our firm performs novelty searches and prepares, files and deals with design applications in Sweden and abroad. We have design attorneys authorised to represent applicants before the OHIM, where deigns can be registered for the whole European Union. We also attend to renewals of registered design applications.

Litigations and disputes
We carry out investigations and make judgements in infringement matters, we send complaints, cease and desist letters, we file plaints, in order to help our clients to defend their intellectual property rights. We assist, usually together with a lawyer, in legal proceedings concerning infringement in protective rights, invalidation proceedings, actions for declaratory judgements and actions for revocation of protective rights.

Licensing
We assist in license negotiations and in the drafting of license agreements of different kinds.

Translations
We provide translations of technical documents, such as patent documents, from English, German and French into Swedish as well as from Swedish into English and German.

General advising
We also give general advice in the area of intellectual property concerning e.g. patents, trademarks, designs, company law, market law, copyright law, law on the right to employee's inventions etc.
